The Volunteer Impact Program provides a meaningful way for our employees and organization to reaffirm our commitment to our community.
Baltimore, Maryland (PRWEB) December 09, 2014
Social Solutions Global, Inc., a Baltimore-based software firm which provides industry-leading performance management tools for human service providers, helped clean the streets of downtown Baltimore last week through its Volunteer Impact Program (VIP).
The volunteer event was held in conjunction with the company’s annual winter meeting. On Friday, December 5, more than 150 Social Solutions employees donated over 300 volunteer hours walking through the streets, collecting litter and trash.
Social Solutions’ VIP program launched earlier this year during National Volunteer Week, and provides employees four paid days a year to volunteer at a nonprofit or charitable organization of their choice. The company expects to donate more than 6,000 hours of employee time through the 2015 volunteer program.
“As a Baltimore-based organization, we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to dedicate more than 375 employee hours to volunteering in our community. The Volunteer Impact Program provides a meaningful way for our employees and organization to reaffirm our commitment to the community,” said Scott Johnson, CEO of Social Solutions.
