One Ring Networks Delivers Critical Connectivity in Days to OliverMcMillan’s Buckhead Atlanta Construction Project
(PRWEB) December 09, 2014 -- One Ring Networks’ flexible Internet solutions, quick installation and dedicated team of engineers and project managers helps leading real estate developer, OliverMcMillan, open Buckhead Atlanta retail destination on schedule with critical wireless access. OliverMcMillan turned to One Ring Networks during construction in order to help fulfill the unique requirements that the retail and residential tenants needed to open their doors for the fall 2014 opening date.
The development of the 1.5 million square-foot space, comprised of luxury retail, dining and residential tenants, was taken over by OliverMcMillan in 2011. A key facet of Atlanta’s upscale Buckhead neighborhood, Buckhead Atlanta was in need of a complete fiber build-out for the completion, as well as temporary access for construction workers to communicate and manage the project. Setups needed for the grand-opening included illuminated parking gates, HD network access, audio equipment and tenant connectivity for everyday operations such as payment processing and phone calls.
Faced with the challenge of finding a network carrier that could meet the mission-critical demands of the Buckhead Atlanta project in a short time period, OliverMcMillan reached out to One Ring Networks based on trusted entertainment-industry client referrals. One Ring Networks was selected out of six carriers, due to its reputation as the carrier best equipped in the Atlanta market to successfully complete unique projects in need of short-term, scalable service with reliable uptime along with complete installation - in just a few days.
“One Ring Networks met and exceeded expectations in delivering scalable Ethernet service with very quick installation,” said Adam Cleary, IT consultant serving OliverMcMillan for the Buckhead Atlanta project. “Not only powering the construction site, the service provided is also being used by tenants who would otherwise not be able to process credit cards, make phone calls – everything they need to operate - without connectivity. We were very impressed with One Ring Networks’ ability to complete every item on our list of needs in a very short time frame.”
One Ring Networks provided OliverMcMillan with a 50mg circuit and microwave over Ethernet service needed to support connectivity needs for development completion, as well as the 16 tenants now open for business in Buckhead Atlanta. Additionally, One Ring Networks worked around the clock with OliverMcMillan to complete tasks based on priority – everything from servicing cameras to automated parking gates. From a project management perspective, One Ring Networks exceeded OliverMcMillan’s expectations having maintained effective communication about deadlines and priorities throughout the duration of project. The carrier was also nimble enough to meet with tenants and retail-owners needing connectivity, some of whom were travelling from overseas and in town for just a day. As a result, the leading real-estate developer is currently preparing to partner with One Ring Networks for long-term, scalable fiber service at the Buckhead Atlanta site.
“We’re thrilled to have been able to serve OliverMcMillan with its critical needs for the Buckhead Atlanta project,” said Kris Maher, vice president of One Ring Networks. “Having worked with dozens construction and development companies, we understand the urgency for network access and demands that require flexibility from us.”
