Allied American University Selected as a Top School in Military Advanced Education’s 2015 Guide to Colleges & Universities
Laguna Hills, CA (PRWEB) December 09, 2014 -- Military Advanced Education (MAE) has awarded Allied American University the designation of a Top School in its 2015 MAE Guide to Colleges & Universities, measuring best practices in military and veteran education.
The Guide presents results of a questionnaire of the military-supportive policies enacted at more than 600 institutions including private, public, for-profit, not-for-profit, four-year, and two-year colleges.
Now in its eighth year of publishing the Guide, MAE was the first publication to launch a reference tool providing military students with information about institutions that go out of their way to give back to men and women in uniform. This year, institutes were evaluated on their military culture, financial aid, flexibility, on-campus support and online support services.
“We are honored to be acknowledged as a Top MAE School for 2015,” said Chief Enrollment Management Officer, Lindsay Oglesby. “At AAU, we recognize the very specific needs our active-duty military members and veterans have when it comes to higher education. We’re proud to be able to provide the type of learning environment in which our service members can thrive and prepare for career success post-military,” she adds.
Allied American University provides a variety of benefits to military students which include: a dedicated staff with prior military experience, associate and bachelor’s degrees and certificate programs, complimentary transfer credit evaluation, acceptance of TA, VA, and MyCAA benefits, exclusive scholarships for military and spouses, textbook grants, 100% online courses with 24/7 access, a success coach in the form of Program Success Advocates, and national accreditation by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council.
