Kenmode Precision Metal Stamping has announced that Abid Rashid has joined the firm as Director of Quality Assurance. He brings more than 15 years of experience in managing quality systems, processes and certifications for manufacturers in the U.S. and abroad.
He previously held the posts of Corporate Quality Manager at Sonoco Products Company in the Protective Solutions Division, Vice President of Quality at NetCom, Inc., and Quality Assurance Manager for Prince Industries, all in the Chicago area. His experience encompasses a variety of industries, including automotive, medical, defense, and electronics, and diverse manufacturing processes, such as electromechanical assembly, fabrication, stamping, molding, and machining. He has established and managed quality systems in the U.S., Mexico, China and Greece. He holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
