Linganore Winecellars Invites Guests to Intimate Barrel Tasting
Frederick, MD (PRWEB) December 15, 2014 -- Linganore Winecellars will hold its 3rd annual barrel tasting January 3, February 7, and March 7. Barrel tastings are an intimate way to experience the wine making experience. Guests will enjoy a tour of the wine making facility and learn about wine production from vine to bottle with the owners, Anthony and/or Eric Aellen. Guests will be treated to a selection of wines to be sampled directly from the fermentation tanks and oak barrels. Be among the first to indulge in these yet to be released wines- including Chardonnay, Chambourcin and Melody from the 2014 harvest.
After the tour, guests will enjoy candid conversation with the owners in the barrel room. These exclusive, intimate tastings are limited to only 20 people per session and include some of the Winemaker’s favorite wines. A $25 fee includes the special tasting, which lasts about 1 hour, and antipasto reception. Tickets are required.
