Sierra Completions, the newest subsidiary of Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) offering high-end aircraft completions of dual- and single-aisle widebody aircraft built with composite airframe, is among representatives from 45 different countries to attend the Middle East Business Aviation (MEBA) show in Dubai. Held at Dubai World Central Dec. 8-10, Sierra Completions is again meeting with Tier 1 companies during the three-day event, advancing negotiations within the highly specialized market.

Sierra Completions also announced that it has narrowed its potential site locations to two U.S. states. A final decision regarding location is expected in early 2015. Sierra Completions’ state-of-the-art completion center includes a design and engineering facility, and hangars to accommodate the largest aircraft in operation. The center will be housed within a world premier aerospace park.

“We are excited about the potential for growth on the Sierra Completions horizon,” remarked Jon Burgoyne, president of Sierra Completions. “MEBA is a perfect example of the global customer demand that exists within the aircraft completions market and, when combined with a strong partner like SNC, we are well poised to become the premier global provider of these services.”

SNC, through its mergers, acquisitions and subsidiaries, continues to promote new capabilities as it expands its tradition of excellence into new growth areas. The vision of creating a world-class aviation design and completion complex is a natural progression of SNC’s five decades of experience with over 200 different types of aircraft systems, including design, modification, integration, modernization, certified aircraft maintenance, and testing and certification for manned and unmanned government and commercial aircraft.
