On Hold Company Releases ‘Zombie Apocalypse’ Video
Shreveport, Louisiana (PRWEB) December 12, 2014 -- Tapping into the pop culture phenomenon of television shows like "The Walking Dead" and the zombie movie craze, On Hold Company’s marketing director Jonathan Kudabeck created the concept, taking the project from idea to script in just one hour.
“Our thought was, ‘What would happen in a perfect world if someone called 911 during a zombie apocalypse and got all the information they needed when they needed it, while on hold,’” said Kudabeck. “We took the benefits of on hold messaging to the extreme in the worst of possibilities.”
The two and one-half minute video was shot in Shreveport by local production company Fairfield Studios with Kudabeck as writer/director, Clint McCommon and John Chambers as producers, and Alexander Dafnis as principal actor. Heather Beauvais, who works on WGN America’s "Salem" television series, shot on location in Shreveport, did make-up.
On Hold Company’s master sound engineer Tommy Granville Jr. composed the music and did the final sound mix while other On Hold employees were transformed into zombies.
“We produced this video for several reasons,” said Kudabeck. “We want potential clients to see that we are a fun company to work, we’re creative and we produce high-quality work. This video showcases all of that as well as the fact that we step outside of the norm and take risks in our on hold marketing work that can have huge benefits for our clients.”

Kudabeck has a filmmaking background and has earned regional and national recognition for his film production work. His show "Mineral Explorers" won the Best Reality Show award at the 2011 International Television Festival in Los Angeles; his film "Stall" was named one of the Top 20 films at the 2013 Louisiana Film Prize in Shreveport; and his latest short "Scotch On The Rocks" was screened at the 2014 New Orleans Film Festival.
