1 Billion PET Preform Capacity Expansion at Esterform

Esterform Packaging of Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire has announced that they will be creating additional capacity of 1 billion PET preforms. This significant investment takes Esterform's overall PET preform capability to 2.6 billion units.

The new capacity will be created by purchasing four new Husky HPP 4.0 production lines.

All four lines will be installed in Esterform's dedicated preform plant in Leeds. Two lines are currently in construction with the first arriving in February 2015 and the second line in early March 2015. The third and fourth lines will be added in the autumn of 2015.

Esterform which returned to private ownership in March 2014, has annual sales of £60 million; and in addition to the PET preform manufacturing in Leeds, is the UK’s largest manufacturer of PET containers, producing 350 million units at its Tenbury Wells plant.
