St. Augustine Bed and Breakfast Forecasts Snow for Weekend Holiday Tour
St. Augustine, FL (PRWEB) December 11, 2014 -- The Bayfront Marin House, a bed and breakfast located in the historic district of St. Augustine, Florida, expects snow flurries to fall during their Annual Tour of Inns, held December 13, 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
The waterfront bed and breakfast will be decorated as a "Winter Wonderland", complete with Eskimos, penguins, and falling snowflakes. Inn owners Mike and Sandy Wieber say the tour will be exceptionally fun this year.
"The Annual Holiday Tour in St. Augustine is one of our favorite December events," says Mike Wieber. "We get into the holiday spirit with costumes, themes, and over the top decoration."
"The holidays are supposed to be fun and full of laughter and friends," says Sandy Wieber. "Our whole staff tries to capture that energy and excitement, and share it with the tour participants."
Twenty-four bed and breakfasts will be on the two-day tour, with 11 inns open on December 13 and 13 inns open on December 14. The tour is sponsored by St. Augustine's Historic Inns. Partial proceeds from the tour will be donated to Fresh Starts in Culinary Arts. This program, operated by First Coast Technical College, trains qualified homeless participants leading to food service certification. The aim is to help graduates find jobs in the food service/hospitality industry, or to transfer into FCTC’s culinary arts program.
