Saunders Landscape Supply Hopes to Better Serve Clients With Addition of New Delivery Truck
Chantilly, VA (PRWEB) December 10, 2014 -- Christmas is coming early for Saunders Landscape Supply this year as the team eagerly awaits the arrival of the newest addition to their fleet of delivery trucks. With another truck in the fleet, the landscape supply company will have a greater delivery capacity and hopes to reduce delivery times for clients. The new 2015 Hino truck is expected to arrive just a few days before the holiday, on December 20.
Saunders Landscape Supply currently has a fleet of six delivery trucks that they rely on to aid in the delivery of the company's 38 different landscaping materials, including mulch, gravel and stones. The fleet consists of a 2006, 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2013 Hino truck, as well as a 15-year-old truck that will eventually be phased out. The company has continued to use the Hino brand due to its unique vehicle properties. Unlike other types of landscape delivery vehicles, Hino's trucks are much larger and can hold up to 20 yards of mulch. Most other trucks have a carrying capacity of only 12 yards of mulch.
With the trucks in its current fleet getting older, it was time for Saunders Landscape Supply to make some updates to the fleet. The oldest truck will remain a part of the fleet for the time being but will eventually be phased out. With one extra delivery vehicle, the landscaping company plans to take full advantage of its greater delivery capacity so that they continue to provide the best services to their clients.
"This purchase is designed to better serve our clients' needs. During our busiest time of year, it can often take up to three days for clients to receive their mulch or gravel shipments. With the new truck, we hope to reduce this waiting time," said Don Saunders, President of Saunders Landscape Supply.
With locations in both Maryland and Northern Virginia, Saunders Landscape Supply will be better able to support its wide customer base with the latest addition to its delivery fleet.
