The elves at Stevens & Tate Marketing are spreading holiday cheer and giving back in a fun new way this year. The agency has developed a new holiday-themed Mobile App, and announced that all 2014 proceeds will be donated to the DuPage County Toys For Tots. Dan Gartlan, President of Stevens & Tate, said: “It’s all about celebrating the spirit of the season and finding creative ways to make a difference this time of year.”
According to the agency, the “Elf A Selfie” App offers a fun way to interact and share festive spirit during the holidays. Users can “Elf A Selfie” by taking a photo and digitally overlaying an array of festive original prop images that include glittery ornaments, bows, glasses, hats, and more. People can then spread good cheer by sharing unique and merry “sELFies” with family and friends online.
The “Elf A Selfie” App costs $.99 and is available for download at the iTunes Store now. It will also be available at the Google Play Store in mid-December. Everyone who downloads the App during the 2014 season will get the joy of knowing they are also helping a notable local charity. Learn more at http://www.stevens-tate.com/elfaselfie.
Stevens & Tate is actively involved with supporting charitable causes and not-for-profit organizations throughout the year as part of its ongoing Lend-A-Hand program—contributing time and expertise to associations such as Autism Society of Illinois (ASI) and American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), among others.
“We believe strongly in the power of giving back and are passionate about helping local families,” said Stevens & Tate Marketing President Dan Gartlan. “’Elf A Selfie’ was a fun way for us to continue this initiative over the holiday season, and get others involved as well,” he continued. “Our Lend-A-Hand program really motivates the team—they enjoy the creativity and feel good supporting a worthy cause.”
As an additional way to get the word out about the App, Stevens & Tate also created a holiday card that’s being sent to clients, partners and vendors. The card carries over the theme and showcases agency staff “ELFing” themselves in photos using the same festive props found in the App. “It is our hope that we can encourage participation from everyone that learns about the App, and in doing so, further support Toys For Tots,” Gartlan stated.
