"Liaison A Status" with ISO CASCO

ISO/CASCO develops standards used for the evaluation of accreditation bodies (ISO/IEC 17011) and the general requirements for competency for testing and calibration laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025) and for proficiency testing providers (ISO/IEC 17043).

“Liaison A status with ISO/CASCO is a significant achievement for NCSL International. While we already serve as the standards body for calibration requirements in the United States through the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), this gives the NCSLI membership a seat at the ISO/CASCO table, with the ability to express our members position on the standards that they work with and have attained accreditation to,” states Jeff Gust, NCSLI Vice President of the Standards and Practices Committee.

NCSL International is a global organization dedicated to the advancement of measurement science in calibration and testing laboratories.
