Resource Edge, makers of recruiting software product, TalentHook Cloud, and insurance and financial service prospecting tool, InsuraSeek, are releasing a software update to their users that includes a major enhancement to the search functionality of their products.

There are millions of resumes online. Since 1999, Resource Edge has provided search aggregation tools used to consolidate and automate resume search on premium employment recruiting websites. This spidering technology has been critical in helping recruiting functions save administrative time in their recruiting process while eliminating bloated databases filled with duplicate resumes. One of the challenges faced in today’s recruiting landscape is finding additional resumes that are off the beaten path. Finding the right professional with the right experience – whether they are active or passive job seekers.

To meet this challenge, recruiters have found success combining their pay board strategy with a community oriented strategy that covers online spaces like social media outlets and professional networking websites. For broad channel searching, this could mean configuring five or six different searches to accommodate the many types of available websites online. Virtual Researcher performs like a virtual assistant to the end user, taking the basic keywords and desired locations established in one search and configuring hundreds of individual searches conducted on the backend, to better find and retrieve results across over 2300 potential online sources available in the TalentHook product. This powerful feature unburdens the recruiter, executes hundreds of potential configurations and frees that recruiter up to spend less time structuring their recruiting process and more time developing relationships and building pipelines based on reliable, unduplicated results.
