WebiMax is the first company to set up shop along the Camden Waterfront under the state’s new Economic Development Act signed into law by Governor Chris Christie last year. The NJ Economic Opportunity Act contains incentives that are attracting a coalition of businesses that are bringing an influx of investment, development and most importantly permanent jobs to Camden. WebiMax’s new office will be located in the Ferry Terminal Building, a “landmark” building with unobstructed views of Philadelphia. WebiMax plans to be fully moved in to their new home by December 22nd.

“Today, Camden gave WebiMax a beautiful new place for our business to grow, and in return Camden received an industry leader in Digital Marketing and one-hundred of the most dedicated, talented and intelligent digital marketers in this country, with one-hundred more coming over the next decade, said CEO Ken Wisnefski. “It’s great to feel a closeness within the community that we hadn’t felt before, and I am excited and proud to call 2 Aquarium Drive our new home.”

“It is an exciting time for the business environment in the state of New Jersey, and WebiMax is thrilled to be a part of it,” said WebiMax COO Kevin O’Brien.

After presenting CEO Ken Wisnefski with the key to the city, Camden city Mayor Dana L. Redd welcomed WebiMax’s 100 employees and thanked them for helping to re-write the story of Camden. “Having WebiMax move to Camden speaks volumes about where we’re going and all of the wonderful transformational projects that are happening, said Mayor Redd, “We are making history today.”

“It took visionary leadership to realize the tremendous opportunity that was here in Camden, and WebiMax got into the front car of the train at a time when many other companies were skeptical,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli Jr. “There’s a lot of momentum in the city and soon other groups like the Philadelphia 76er’s, Holtec International, Lockhead Martin and Subaru International will all be following right behind.”
