Connected World magazine is influencing the M2M industry according to Onalytica. The firm has named Peggy Smedley, editorial director, the top individual influencer in M2M, and she is joined by columnists Laurie Lamberth and Tim Lindner. Lamberth came in at #40, with Lindner ranking #50.
Onalytica recently released an exhaustive list of 200 thought leaders, including firms, media outlets, industry blogs and professionals. The list ranked the top 100 individuals as well as the top 100 brands.
“We are extremely honored to be recognized by a prestigious organization such as Onalytica. I am personally very proud to be included on a list with talented thought leaders like Laurie and Tim,” says Smedley, editorial director, Connected World. “As we enter into our 12th year covering M2M and Internet of Things, my team and I remain dedicated to the industry, and aim to consistently provide information to those looking to stay current on the marketplace. We would like to thank our readers and partners, and we will continue to strive to be that resource for them.”
Connected World is a bi-monthly publication covering M2M, IoT (Internet of Things), and connected devices. The magazine advises readers on key areas such as transportation, health and fitness, energy, and the home, among others, identifying how these will all become interconnected in some way, ultimately creating a connected world.
Connected World also recently launched a revamped, user-friendly Website. The site features daily news articles, blog posts, M2M Premier, and broadcasts of The Peggy Smedley Show, making it the most comprehensive content archive in the M2M/IoT industry.
Additionally, this February 23-24, Connected World magazine will host its annual Connected World Conference. In partnership with University of Alabama at Birmingham's Center for Information Assurance and Joint Forensics Research (The Center), the Connected World Conference this year will focus on how we protect our data, and the security issues that have surfaced in this fast paced cyber world.
