Fountain Valley Fit Body Boot Camp Sponsors 5K Fun Run Along With The City of Fountain Valley and Fountain Valley Community Foundation
Fountain Valley, CA (PRWEB) December 18, 2014 -- Fountain Valley Fit Body Boot Camp, owned by fitness professionals and personal trainers Sam and Zenia Joyner, will be hosting a 5K Fun Run Saturday, February 7th along with support from the City of Fountain Valley and the Fountain Valley Community Foundation. All proceeds from the event will benefit numerous charities working with the Fountain Valley Community Foundation.
Fit Body Boot Camp is the nation’s fastest growing and most popular indoor fitness boot camp franchise. The founder and CEO, Bedros Keuilian, is a fitness business and marketing expert whose boot camp franchise is quickly becoming the fitness industry’s most pervasive boot camp brand.
The 5K Fun Run is specifically targeted at the Fountain Valley community and has been created as a publicly and privately supported city event that promotes healthy living. By actively encouraging community members to adopt a healthier lifestyle the Fountain Valley Fit Body Boot Camp, the City of Fountain Valley, and the Fountain Valley Community Foundation hope to increase health awareness and improve health standards within their local communities.
Sam and Zenia Joyner are joint owners of the Fountain Valley Fit Body Boot Camp. Former clients turned owners, they explain what attracted them to the franchise and why they chose to embark on the venture of entrepreneurship and business ownership with this particular brand: “As previous clients at another local Fit Body Boot Camp, we saw firsthand how the program changes and inspires lives. We both know that being healthy is a lifestyle. With all the encouragement, positivity and support surrounding us, there was no question or hesitation in joining the Fit Body Boot Camp family as owners. Our continuous goal is to help others reach their own goals and educate our clients about living a healthy lifestyle, just as we have experienced.”
The event will be held on Saturday, February 7th at 8:00am. The Fountain Valley Sports Park and Recreation Center will house the event. The 5K run is open to all ages but there will be a One Mile Run before the main event for children and others unable to run the full five kilometers. The main run will feature some of the most popular Fit Body Boot Camp exercises and obstacles throughout the entire course. While participation in the additional obstacles is optional, runners will have an opportunity to experience the Boot Camp style and learn exactly what makes Fit Body Boot Camp so popular. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place runners for each age group.
The Joyner’s explained why this run is so important to them and their business and why they chose to become such invested sponsors for the event: “This is one of very few health oriented events that exist within our community. We made sure to become sponsors because we are the only boot camp and best fitness studio in Fountain Valley. We work each day to educate the community about healthy living, so this was a great way for us to expand that work while giving back to the charities under the Fountain Valley Community Foundation.”
