Wrike, the leading project management and collaboration solution for high-performance teams, today announced the launch of its Dynamic Platform release, a major update that fundamentally changes the way teams can use Wrike by providing a customized experience at every level of the product for every user.
New for both Wrike customers and the industry, the release means that businesses can now integrate their unique data and processes into Wrike projects. This brings capabilities to the Wrike platform that up until now have only been available in the large-scale enterprise deployments.
“Wrike’s Dynamic Platform release creates a new category today that delivers powerful technology to regular users like you and me,” said Andrew Filev, CEO and Founder of Wrike. “This empowers our customers to quickly create a customized operating system for their unique business or industry.”
New Customization Capabilities
Any type of team in any industry, from governments to creative agencies and startups, can add their own unique data to their projects as easily as adding a column in a spreadsheet and can build dashboards, reporting and workflows using their own data.
For example, an agile product development team can now create custom fields to track each status that maps to their agile process: the sprint a task is assigned to, the initial estimated effort, and the actual effort and the variance, so they have all the information they need to organize, prioritize, and report on their work in one place.
Our marketing customers can categorize work based on leads, budget, approvals, publishing status or any category that creates the most productive workflow for their team in a particular project. They can then easily add in reporting and dashboards so that all of their tasks in Wrike are organized around their own custom view of the work.
San Bruno based Nomis Solutions has been testing Wrike’s Dynamic Platform to customize effort allocation for their team of analysts in order to manage workload.
“Prior to using Wrike, we had limited visibility into the workload of our 40+ person service, consulting, and implement teams,” said Roger Arnemann, Senior Vice President of Products and Services at Nomis Solutions. “The ability to customize Wrike for our particular needs has given us meaningful insight into our team members’ capacity and helps us maintain balanced workload management across projects.”
The Dynamic Platform release also includes a new API (V.3) that makes it faster and easier to build on Wrike.
“Our new API will cut development time dramatically and make it incredibly easy and open for developers to build applications and integrations on top of Wrike,” added Filev. “Wrike is committed to building an open, flexible platform that is the hub for all of our customers’ business activities.”
