Now, with the help of TopStox, users can develop essential trading skills and be confident in their investment habits.

TopStox, a finance app developed by leading interactive agency, Softway Solutions, was released for iOS this week. TopStox is an instrument for users to strengthen their trading skills and develop smarter investment strategies by spending virtual money in the stock market.

“We envisioned an app that would enable users to learn and practice trading tactics in stock exchange. With TopStox, users can create different portfolios, and strategize towards maximized profits through buying and selling stocks,” said Raja Roopnarine, founder of TopStox.

TopStox simulates Wall Street by using real time market quotes and open market hours, thus providing a unique experience for app users. Users can search for any publicly traded stock, and even add stocks to their ‘Watch List’ to track share performances and assess risks and profits. TopStox has two different modes- day trading and stockbroker portfolio. Players enter the day trading game and aim to make the highest possible profit by quickly buying and selling stocks before the day’s market is over. Engage the stockbroker mode and build your portfolio over time by managing your investment plans and consistently evaluating your performance.

TopStox users are afforded six free trades and day trading portfolios reset each day. In-app purchases allow for additional cash or trades.

“The app is a useful tool for planning, and decision making,” said Roopnarine. “Now, with the help of TopStox, users can develop essential trading skills and be confident in their investment habits."

TopStox was created by Raja Roopnarine, an independent developer based out of Houston, Texas. Roopnarine graduated with an MBA from Barry University in Miami, Florida in 1998.

The idea for TopStox stemmed from his realization that there was no real educational tool for beginners to develop their skills in trading, so he designed the app to serve as a simulation to assist in mastering the stock market in real life. Roopnarine believes that this game will help both amateurs and enthusiasts alike develop smarter market strategies.
