Foster City, CA (PRWEB) December 18, 2014 -- HealthCrowd, an early disruptor in healthcare mobile messaging, today announced it has expanded its management team to support the company’s next phase of growth. Daniel Lipkin has joined as Vice President of Engineering and Jonathan Woodruff has been tapped to serve as HealthCrowd’s new Director of Enterprise Sales.
Over the past year, HealthCrowd has steadily grown its customer base. Large national healthcare payer organizations are increasingly turning to HealthCrowd’s unified enterprise-grade patient engagement platform to address their mobile engagement and communication challenges. The new appointments strengthen the company’s executive bench with veteran sales and engineering executives who can further drive its national footprint and help it expand into new markets.
“We’re delighted to have Daniel and Jonathan join forces with HealthCrowd,” said Neng Bing Doh, HealthCrowd’s co-founder and CEO. “Both bring a wealth of experience and keen understanding for what our customers need and how to advance our platform with new functionality to support their dynamic needs. HealthCrowd plans to continue leading the industry with new innovations to our engagement platform. We’re excited to work with both and look forward to the contributions they will make.”
“HealthCrowd has raised the industry bar in patient engagement,” said Woodruff. “In this new age of healthcare, patient-centricity and the ability to deliver a swift return on investment are just as important as scalability and reliability,” noted Lipkin. “I look forward to advancing HealthCrowd’s market-leading innovation and working with Bing and the rest of the team.”
Lipkin, an inventor of 8 U.S. patents, has spent most of his career involved in innovative enterprise technology platforms. Previously, Lipkin served on the management teams of Saba, a leading talent management provider, and MyWire, a web content platform. Previously, he led the platform team at Visible Path, one of the first enterprise social networks, and before that, Lipkin worked at Oracle, where he founded a team to deliver the first 3D database server based on open web standards. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Woodruff has spent most of his career working with national healthcare organizations and helping them launch innovative patient engagement programs. Over the past decade, he has worked with payers and pharmaceutical companies to develop and deploy engagement strategies, from leveraging interactive voice calls to varied mail tactics to text messaging. Woodruff graduated from University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
