Young America (YA) Announces Strategic Hires to Meet Continuing Market Demands
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) December 16, 2014 -- Young America (YA), an industry market leader in delivering flawless omni-channel marketing promotions for the nation’s most respected brands, today announced several strategic new hires to meet client needs.
“For more than 40 years, our clients have trusted us to help them sell more products and services by developing, implementing and managing rebates and rewards; enter to win; referrals; and loyalty programs,” said YA President and CEO Chris Behrens. “Today, as the marketing promotions world is becoming more mobile and social, so are we. We’re investing in the right talent to provide thought leadership and the practical application of our products and services to create brand advocates, meet our clients’ needs and offer a real return on marketing investment.”
A large part of YA’s strategy is to augment expertise in the industries its clients serve, including consumer packaged goods, retail, manufacturing and subscription services. Two recent senior hires boost leadership in the manufacturing sector:
Andy Dickhausen joined YA in October 2014 as senior account director for the Manufacturing group. Dickhausen will lead existing client development within the manufacturing vertical. Prior to joining Young America, Dickhausen was a Client Relationship Manager at Digital River, where he was responsible for client growth and satisfaction of all of the strategic hardware and software manufacturing clients. Before Digital River, he worked in multiple roles at Aimia (formerly Carlson Marketing), where he was responsible for developing and maintaining loyalty programs for multiple clients with an emphasis on the leading brands in the financial services industry. Dickhausen attended St. Cloud State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing.
Julianne Spargo also joined YA in October 2014 as senior client account manager for the Manufacturing group. Spargo will work with clients within the manufacturing vertical to develop and execute their marketing promotions. Before joining YA, she was a process analyst at Target Corporation, focusing on operational improvement and client satisfaction. Spargo also has consumer packaged goods experience as a business development manager with Crossmark. Spargo attended Loyola University of Chicago and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with a minor in business. She is a member of the National Association of Executive Women. Spargo is Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certified and an earned a Process Mapping and Analysis Certification from the University of Minnesota.
To augment its expertise in the technology arena, YA hired Chad Gardner in November 2014 as a technical sales engineer. Gardner will provide subject matter expertise to support the application and customization of YA’s product and services to client projects during the sales process. He has held positions as regional sales manager for Global Tel*Link and Renovo Software. Gardner graduated from Michigan Technological University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with a minor in Business.
“Feedback from clients is that our strategic direction is on point and driving the need to continue to add top talent to our team,” said Behrens. “We are focused on hiring talent that provides thought leadership and strategically reinforces our ability to continue innovating to help our clients meet their business and marketing objectives.”
