GameTime’s Custom Play Division Recognized in Forbes Life Magazine
Fort Payne, Alabama (PRWEB) December 16, 2014 -- One of the highlights of the holiday season is creating moments of wonder for children. GameTime’s custom play division, PlayWorx, has been designing themed playgrounds for decades that appeal to a child’s sense of wonder and imagination. In 2013, PlayWorx launched a collection of ready-to-order play sculptures that helps communities construct custom playgrounds quickly and easily. One of those sculptures is a life-size, realistic-looking pirate ship, and it caught the attention of Forbes Life magazine.
In the December issue, Forbes Life editors selected the PlayWorx Pirate Ship as a beautiful, “flight-of-fancy play environment” for young adventurers in their Ultimate Luxury Gift Guide for Children. For the PlayWorx designers, who create some of the most imaginative playgrounds in the world, it was a unique honor to see their work make the list.
“While most of our play sculptures are installed as part of playground projects in public parks and schools, it is gratifying to see national publications recognize the appeal of themed and custom playscapes,” said Tom Norquist, Senior Vice President at GameTime and the founder of PlayWorx. “Our play sculptures, like the Pirate Ship featured in Forbes Life magazine are designed to transform ordinary playgrounds into extraordinary community centerpieces and to enrich childhood through play.”
