Alexis Polles, M.D., PLLC, a nationally known expert in the field of emotional trauma, has joined Milestones at Onsite as the Medical Director. The program is lead by Miles Adcox, CEO; Cris Cannon, D.Min, LPC-MHSP, NCC, CCMHC, ACS, Clinical Director of Milestones; Bill Lokey, MA, LSPE, CTT, CETII, Chief Clinical Officer of Onsite; Mary Bellofato, LMHC, NCC, CEDS, TEP, and the world renowned Onsite team. Milestones at Onsite has carved out a much-needed niche and is setting a new standard in extended care treatment for trauma, codependency, and mental health. The excitement continues to build around this program with the addition of Dr. Polles’s great blend of clinical education, experience, and strong passion for an integrative wellness oriented psychiatric treatment approach and client care. Milestones at Onsite is a residential facility adjacent to Onsite’s workshop and training based therapeutic intensive retreat center located in the beautiful rolling hills just outside of Nashville, TN.
Dr. Polles is a Board Certified Forensic Psychiatrist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine, a Certified EMDR Consultant, an Accelerated Resolution Therapist, a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, and a Certified Hope and Freedom Practitioner. In addition, Dr. Polles is certified by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. Her specialties and passions include post-traumatic stress disorders, addictive disorders, sexual compulsivity and relationship repair.
Dr. Polles has personally practiced in the field of mental health, addiction medicine, and addiction psychiatry for more than 25 years, in settings ranging from acute psychiatric, to medical detox, day treatment, residential treatment, outpatient programs, family programs, and individual care. She is also the Medical Director for the Mississippi Professionals Health Network, a monitoring and advocacy program for dentists, oral surgeons, veterinarians, and other non-physician licensed professionals. She creates customized trauma intensives for veterans and active duty military and their families and has a heart for helping trauma survivors achieve emotional freedom.
