Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) December 18, 2014
Today, Practical Analytics announced that its analytic automation platform called Q-n-A prep is now in preview. Q-n-A prep enables executives to gain greater insights and visibility to answer critical business questions 10x faster and 20x cheaper than traditional analytic methods. Analysts spend a majority of their time prepping data for analysis – from integrating multiple sources, to cleaning and structuring data for use with their various front-end tools. The Q-n-A platform automates the tedious process of prepping data for analysis, enabling analysts to focus on answering questions.
“This is a game changer for up and coming retail, restaurant and QSR companies,” said Daniel Stiefel, Founder of Practical Analytics. “As we continue to build our analytic platform, utilizing Microsoft Azure's various analytic services, we’re leveling the playing field for growing businesses, giving them similar insights as their larger competitors.”
Aimed at helping retail and food service organizations like Tropical Smoothie Café, the initial Q-n-A prep module will focus on promotions. “We have been utilizing Q-n-A prep for promotions, and pricing decisions” said Lisa Wenda CMO for Tropical Smoothie Café. “Q-n-A prep has been an essential resource to help us gather, clean, process and structure the data we need to make informed decisions that help drive sales and growth.”
The first Q-n-A prep module will focus on promotions while new item performance, attach rate and market basket analysis are slated for the first quarter of 2015. In addition, leveraging their Microsoft Azure Machine Learning partnership, Practical Analytics is developing additional modules to help organizations predict the best possible promotions.
