Iselin, NJ (PRWEB) December 17, 2014
Earlier today, New Jersey-based MyCareer announced it has secured an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Karlani Capital. The company leverages a predictive analytics platform to provide a “resume on demand” solution to recruiters and talent acquisition firms. The investment will enable the company to accelerate product development and increase sales and marketing efforts.
Through this patent-pending technology, recruiters will be able to upload resumes in exchange for credits, or purchase credits, which are then used to source new, relevant resumes while simultaneously adding to an exponentially growing database of resumes. Through the MyCareer platform, posting jobs is free; employers or recruiters only pay for access to candidates they are interested in, incentivizing significantly more efficient talent acquisition strategies.
“MyCareer is a game changer in the recruiting industry, this platform shifts the locus of power back to the recruiter / agency instead of the owners of the job boards who have had a stranglehold on the industry for years,” said Taj Haslani, MyCareer Co-Founder & CEO. “Furthermore, we want to give control back to the job seekers, letting them determine who gets access to their data and resume and accelerate their job search process.”
“Our goal is to be both a recruiter’s best friend and the career guru to the individual,” said MyCareer Co-Founder and Karlani Capital’s Grand Poobah Rudy Karsan, “MyCareer will help facilitate this process by giving the experts, the recruiters, the right tools they need to be more effective at matching people with jobs as well as let individuals control who gets to see resume and profile information.”
MyCareer is a resume platform that disrupts the talent sourcing model by providing a true “resume on demand solution” at a fraction of the cost, and significantly more flexibility than, current job board and recruiting solutions. Through this patent-pending technology, recruiters will be able to upload resumes in exchange for credits, or purchase credits, which are then used to source new, relevant resumes while simultaneously adding to an exponentially growing database of resumes.
