Bailey’s Sanibel Shopping Center Welcomes Whims on Periwinkle, a Unique Boutique with Eclectic Clothing, Jewelry, Gifts and More
Sanibel Island, Florida (PRWEB) December 16, 2014 -- Bailey’s Sanibel Shopping Center welcomes its new merchant, a boutique named Whims. Two local artists, Susan Sadler and Beth Redpath teamed up to create a truly unique and cheerful shop, filled with joy and color in their unique women’s clothing and accessories, gifts and art.
Susan and Beth have brought together a collection of clothing by small cottage designers such as Judy Tampa and Vitamin, as well as other eclectic, stylish and comfortable clothing for women. There is an assortment of items from cashmere wraps and sweaters to island tunics, unique jewelry and accessories to make any outfit complete! Rounding out the whimsical look in the shop are gifts such as cotton throws, bright pillows, glasses, funny cards and a lot of other cheerful things for your home or to brighten someone else’s day!
Susan is a popular local artist and has added some of her hand painted clothing to the mix of clothes, with her fun motifs and bright colors. Beth is a local ceramic artist and jewelry creator, which you can find here in all their polka dot whimsy. There are other local artists as well who contributed to the cheerful shop with their paintings, jewelry, fiber art, soaps and paper mache creations.
Susan and Beth love being part of the Bailey’s family shopping center and “take great pleasure in interacting with our customers and being able to help them find something unique and joyful.” The shop is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm and Sundays from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
Mead and Richard Johnson, owners of Bailey's Center, commented, "Whims on Periwinkle is yet another great addition to the family of Bailey's Center. Susan and Beth are wonderful artists and businesswomen who have added a great deal to our center. Welcome home, Whims."
