With new performance support case studies, EI Design (http://www.eidesign.net/) asserts its success in expanding from offering core services in formal training to enabling the creation of whole Learning and Performance Ecosystems.

The learning solutions provider recently launched its new brand position to include informal training and learning hubs, as well as formal training. Building whole Learning and Performance Ecosystems allows EI Design to show that learning can happen anywhere. It takes the training environment from the classroom to the mobile to the work desk PC and takes the learner on a sensory journey that can include audio, video and kinetic text for an immersive learning experience.

Asha Pandey, founder of EI Design, explains, “It’s not just about online classroom training any more or even mobile learning. It’s about enabling individuals to access learning whenever they most need it, helping them apply that learning at work, reinforcing it when needed and then showing the customer that the learning really works”.

Although the learning environment has expanded, EI Design has maintained its focus on learning outcomes and its customers. The firm’s learning solutions strive to enhance the learner’s experience and ultimately the employee’s performance, so that customers can stay agile in a competitive or demanding work environment.

Driven by its mission to “energise learning”, the firm remains agile itself. EI Design has stayed at the forefront of instructional learning solutions by working closely with customers and partners to build these Learning and Performance Ecosystems. “Ongoing research, exploration and continued innovation – that’s part of the added value we offer customers”, says Asha. “It’s also important for us to work closely with our customers and partners using a consultative, collaborative approach. The different perspectives keep our learning solutions fresh and agile and help the businesses of our customers and partners attain sustainable results”, she adds

This agility and drive are only part of what distinguishes the firm from its competitors. Each customer knows he or she will get cutting-edge, researched and tested solutions. With better navigation, presentation and interaction than its competitors, EI Design creates an immersive learning experience that makes it easier for learners to learn, unlearn and relearn.

The firm recognises that most learning occurs on the job. Organisations benefit by supplementing formal training solutions with Performance Support Solutions that their learners can access and apply directly in the workplace. Among the support solutions that EI Design offers are Mobile Apps (for quick and easy access to information at any time), Interactive PDFs or eBooks, the use of kinetic text or animations, webinars that act as complete learning units and enhanced webcasts or podcasts.

EI Design does not stop there. It helps organisations determine the impact of their training through its value-added services. The company has readied case studies of success stories of its Performance Support Tools (or PST Solutions) that reflect the gains an organisation can expect when it supplements formal training with PSTs. These PSTs include checklists and ready reckoners to complement an online course, a checklist to supplement an ILT course and interactive PDF and ebook formats. Several of the PSTs have already been deployed successfully for customers in banking, finance and insurance.

Asha concludes, “EI Design offers so much more. We understand customers need to know that the training they prescribe is making a difference. From banks to insurance agencies, our value-added services have really helped customers assess the efficacy of the training and determine its impact on their business”.
