CompuLert™ NEXGen is the latest full hardware and software platform release of the American Signal Corporations’ CompuLert™ system that has over 25 years in service.
The CompuLert™ NEXGen system provides industry leading features such as automated activation of mass notification devices based on Common Alerting Protocol feeds, dynamic geo-referenced mapping, polygon selection and dynamic device grouping in a high availability and fault tolerant solution. NEXGen can accept automatic feeds from NOAA & National Weather Service to automatically or manually activate warning devices such as sirens or high power speaker arrays. This feature dramatically reduces the amount of time required to provide lifesaving information to the target audience.
The CompuLert™ NEXGen system is the most flexible and configurable solution a direct result of the system architecture. As a multitier application, each layer of the application has been designed to support diverse customer environments. The NEXGen server application is fully supported on Linux, Windows, Mac, and UNIX operating systems. The NEXGen data layer supports numerous data servers such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle and more. CompuLert™ NEXGen has been designed from the ground up to support the latest communications methodologies and protocols to support the highly mobile world.
