Exhibitus and Kawneer Named 2014 Event Design Award Winner
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) December 19, 2014 -- Exhibitus’ client Kawneer, an Alcoa company, has won a Silver Award in the category of Best Trade Show Environment (Under 50’x50’) in the 2014 Event Design Awards.
Sponsored by Event Marketer, the Event Design Awards recognize the best event and exhibit environments among the Event industry’s top experience designers and innovators, reflecting how the world’s best creative studios are reinventing experience design. Winners are selected in 12 categories by a panel of brand-side judges.
Kawneer’s exhibit was inspired by the award-winning architect Zaha Hadid whose work is characterized by the “powerful, curving forms of elongated structures”(1). Exhibitus designers used compound curves and other organic shapes to create a fluid environment for demonstrating innovative,
environmentally-responsible usage of Kawneer’s products. The white, high-gloss laminate applied throughout the exhibit provides a dramatic backdrop for uniting the company’s brands under one cohesive design.

The Kawneer exhibit debuted in Chicago at the American Institute of Architects Expo in June 2014.
