Dallas-Based Park Cities Pet Sitter Introduces New “Extended Tuck-In with Breakfast Service”
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) December 18, 2014 -- This week, Park Cities Pet Sitter added a new offering to their menu of services, one they are calling the “Extended Tuck-In with Breakfast Service.” This new offering includes a pet sitter coming to the client’s home from approximately 8pm to 10pm in the evening to spend time with the clients’ pets, providing almost the same evening routine that the client would follow if they were home. During the two hour window, sitters can take the pet outside for a potty break, provide treats, brush them, or snuggle with them on the couch while watching television. This “Extended Tuck-In” is designed to normalize the pets’ evening routine, even though their owner(s) may be out of town. It can also put anxious pets at ease since someone is able to spend time with them for a more extended period than the standard 20-to-30-minute pet sitting visit will allow. In addition to the “Extended Tuck-In” portion of the service offering, the pet sitter returns to the client home the next morning to provide the pet(s)’ their breakfast and let them outside for a potty break or walk. The entire service offering is available for two pets in a household at a price of $75.00/day.
Park Cities Pet Sitter President, Joette White, decided to introduce the “Extended Tuck-In with Breakfast” offering as a more affordable alternative to a full Overnight service. The Overnight service Park Cities Pet Sitter also provides costs $90 for 1-2 pets and has the pet sitter coming to the client’s home by 10:30pm and spending the night until 6:30am the next morning. Dogs and/or cats get “potty” time outside in the late evening and early morning, and also get their morning breakfast. Both the “Extended Tuck-In with Breakfast” and “Overnight” services were designed to give the highest level of peace of mind to both the human client and their pet(s). Ms. White said, “These service offerings make the pets feel more comfortable since we are able to follow their owners’ normal routines more closely. Plus, there are additional safety benefits to these service types as well. When our pet sitters are spending these extended time periods at the home, the home has a more lived-in appearance and it can definitely be a crime deterrent. Rotating lights and blinds, picking up all newspapers and mail daily, moving trash bins to the curb and back on appropriate days are all signs that a home is being “lived in,” so it becomes a less attractive target to potential troublemakers. There really are multiple benefits to using either of these service types.”
Additional visits throughout the day can also be added to the “Extended Tuck-In with Breakfast” or the “Overnight” visits, per the pet owner’s discretion and needs. For more details about these new services, please visit Park Cities Pet Sitter’s website at http://www.pcpsi.com.
