Ashley Furniture HomeStore Gives Comfort to Healing Warriors
Jacksonville, Florida (PRWEB) December 19, 2014 -- This month, Ashley Furniture HomeStore – Jacksonville, helped furnish the new K9s for Warriors facility at Nocatee, which will provide critical recovery care for post-9/11 servicemen and women. The donation included complete bedroom, living room, and dining room sets for 16 suites to help the Warriors feel at home during their rehabilitation, with a value of over $50,000.
The above follows last month’s efforts by Ashley Furniture HomeStores here in Florida that provided 680 pieces of furniture valued at $120,000 to 50 newly provided homes for formerly homeless veterans in support of Operation Reveille. The event, sponsored in part by the furniture retailer, was held at Port Tampa Bay.

With proven success, K9s for Warriors provides a new leash on life to rescue dogs and military heroes, as well as empowering warriors to return to civilian life with dignity and independence. The Nocatee facility will serve 200 warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress and/or traumatic brain injury each year.
