Popular Oakland restaurant promotion returns on Jan. 15-25, 2015

Oakland Restaurant Week runs Jan. 15-25 2015

Reservations are now available for Visit Oakland’s 5th Annual Oakland Restaurant Week. More than 70 Oakland restaurants will celebrate Oakland Restaurant Week, presented by Visit Oakland and Discover® from January 15 through January 25, 2015.

This popular program runs over two weekends for residents and visitors to take full advantage of the dining deals. Participating restaurants will offer special prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus at $20, $30, and $40 per person, reflecting up to 25 percent off regularly priced a la carte items.

The complete restaurant list for Oakland Restaurant Week and reservations is available at http://www.oaklandrestaurantweek.org. The list can be searched by neighborhood, cuisine and lunch or dinner offerings. Through a partnership with OpenTable, reservations (strongly recommended) can be made directly from the Oakland Restaurant Week page.

Oakland Restaurant Week is a part of California Restaurant Month, designated by Visit California. The statewide event is a promotional initiative created to encourage post-holiday travel to California during the month of January, which is typically a slow dining month after the holidays.

Dates and times of participation vary by restaurant. A la carte menus will also be available. Discover® is the official Card partner for Oakland Restaurant Week 2015.
