Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate Ranked in Entrepreneur's Top 500 Franchises for 2015

Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate, trademark brands of BaseCamp Franchising, are ranked in Entrepreneur's Top 500 Franchises for 2015.

Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate, resale stores and trademark brands of BaseCamp Franchising, have both been ranked in Entrepreneur's Top 500 Franchises for 2015. This marks the fourteenth year for Kid to Kid and third year for Uptown Cheapskate to be listed in Entrepreneur Magazine's list of America's top franchise opportunities.

The Entrepreneur's Top 500 Franchise announcement caps a year of growth for both Uptown Cheapskate and Kid to Kid, which now has 106 locations throughout the U.S. and Portugal. Kid to Kid has been a top child related franchise for over 20 years, and has thrived even in recessionary periods. Uptown Cheapskate hasn’t been around as long, but has demonstrated terrific potential for the teen and young adult resale market with 43 stores in 18 states. BaseCamp plans to add an additional 30 to 40 stores in 2015.

Uptown Cheapskate picks up where Kid to Kid leaves off, buying and selling new and like-new name brand clothes, shoes, jewelry and handbags for the teen and young adult market.

This is phenomenal growth from when the first Uptown Cheapskate store opened only five years ago – both in number of stores, and sales within the stores."
