Deadline Extended for Renewable Energy Power Awards Nominations
San Francisco, Calif. (PRWEB) December 21, 2014 -- The deadline to nominate developments for the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits Renewable Energy Power Awards has been extended to Jan. 15, 2015. The awards were created to recognize renewable energy tax credit developments that have demonstrated exceptional community impact, success in overcoming obstacles and effectiveness in the use of renewable energy tax credits. Winning development teams will be honored in a ceremony at the Novogradac Financing Renewable Energy Conference on April 23, 2015, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas.
Categories for the Renewable Energy Power Awards are:
• Financial Innovation
• Overcoming Obstacles
• Small Community Project
Nominations for 2015 awards are open for all developments that involve the use of federal renewable energy investment tax credits, federal renewable energy production tax credits and/or Section 1603 cash grant funds and were placed in service between Jan. 1, 2013, and Nov. 1, 2014. A nominating entity may nominate multiple developments and/or suggest nominations for more than one category. Judges will determine in which category the nominated entity is best suited. Nominations submitted after Jan. 15, 2014, will be considered for the subsequent award round as long as the placed-in-service date still applies.
Winners receive:
• One complimentary entry to the conference to receive the award;
• Coverage of the property in the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits;
• Copies of the Journal of Tax Credits to share with industry contacts; and
• Recognition on the Novogradac & Company website and YouTube channel, and in a national press release about the event.
