San Diego salon offers Christmas Eve haircuts for domestic violence victims.

Dearinger salon and staff will be offering complimentary haircuts ($65 value) to women from Becky’s House, Passages, and Cortez Hill Family Center on Wednesday, December 24th from 9am – 7pm. Dearinger is located at 307 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92101.

The mission of the YWCA of San Diego County is to help women, children, and families break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness, and achieve self-sufficiency. Through Becky’s House, Passages and the Cortez Hill Family Center, the YWCA provides extensive services including safe housing, a 24-hour domestic violence hotline, counseling, legal assistance, employment support, financial literacy training, and engaging children’s programs to more than 6,000 individuals each year. The YWCA is committed to helping families recover from trauma, improve their economic status, find permanent housing and ultimately transform their lives.
