eCommerce for Microsoft Dynamics Solution Provider Ignify Provides Responsive Design eCommerce Store that is Multi-Device Friendly
Long Beach, CA (PRWEB) December 21, 2014 -- Global eCommerce, ERP, CRM, and POS solution provider Ignify is pleased to announce the latest release of the company’s flagship software solution — Ignify eCommerce 8.0. The development team at Ignify focused on market trends and customer requests to provide a better multi-device shopping experience for shoppers. The new ecommerce software release is optimized for REST-based design, leading to a fluid and graceful experience across mobile devices. Multiple responsive ecommerce templates have been included as part of the release to allow merchants to quickly launch responsive web stores.
“This release brings many exciting developments for Ignify eCommerce,” said Ranjit Goray, Vice President at Ignify. “We aimed to create a smarter web store for shoppers, complete with features such as responsive web design, the ability to save multiple shopping carts, and copy sales orders to cart.”
A web store running on Ignify eCommerce 8.0 will respond to the user’s device by modifying itself to the resolution, image size, and scripting abilities of the device. A single theme and template will fluidly adapt to each different device, ensuring the user experience is the same whether using a mobile phone, tablet, desktop, or laptop. Mobile shoppers can now access customer-centric features like reviews and ratings, product images, wish lists, saved carts, and more from their Windows, Android, or iOS device.
Additionally, targeted content display options allow merchants to select what to display on each device. For example, the checkout screen on a mobile device can be set up to display a limited number of buttons and fields, allowing the shopper to quickly make a purchase with minimal distractions.
Shopping is now more convenient than ever with Release 8.0. Shoppers can create and save multiple shopping carts and convert them into quotes and orders at a later date. Additionally, shoppers may request quotes, copy items, and addresses from an existing order to a new shopping cart. The shopping experience is streamlined to allow customers to pick up where they left off without having to re-add all items to a new cart. The interactive user interface allows shoppers to move across multiple shopping carts and merge or delete them as needed.
Business to Business (B2B) ecommerce customers will also see enhancements with Release 8.0. The “copy sales order to cart” feature gives B2B shoppers the ability to place an order within seconds instead of having to navigate and search the entire web store again to add the same set of products to their cart. This new cart can then be modified as desired.
Alongside the powerful improvements for the shopper’s experience, Release 8.0 also upgraded the back-end experience, enhancing the store manager’s ability to make adjustments to the store independently from the IT/support team.
The store manager can easily close a web store via the Manager Panel. These temporary closures can be used for maintenance or upgrade purposes, and when the web store is ready to be reopened, the cache may be recycled. This can all be done with the click of a button, and reduces the store manager’s dependence on the IT support team, which makes channel management more self-serviceable.
“Ignify eCommerce 8.0 is delivering many key elements that will make online shopping easier for both customers and merchants,” said Pankaj Kumar, Chief Technology Officer of Ignify. “Our goal is to deliver the most up-to-date solutions for online retailers to keep their customers coming back and spending more at their stores.”
Additional enhancements with Ignify eCommerce Release 8.0 include: support for Google Tag Manager, simplified setup with Web Deploy, and upgrades to the Microsoft Dynamics ERP integration.
