At the event, Technology and Web companies showcased their new ventures at the largest venture capital conference in the Southwest with more than 350 attendees, including investors, venture capitalists, industry representatives, business leaders, service providers, and entrepreneurs. ESPRIT DATA attracted significant interest from both investors and potential customers.
ESPRIT DATA showcased their newly developed Virtual Computer as a Service (“VCaaS”) at the event. The proprietary system replaces all the functions of traditional “Client/Server” systems which are still used by the majority of organizations at this time. The VCaaS system provides the same exact computer functions at a lower cost, with greater security & privacy and will reduce information technology management time. VCaaS supports Windows 7 and other Windows operating systems, Linux and Apple OS
Thomas A. Olson, CFO and Director of ESPRIT DATA, represented the company at the event. ESPRIT DATA was judged and chosen by investors and business leaders in attendance, based on the companies’ business plan presentations from amount the I.T. and Web Venture Companies, at the conference.
In response to the Award announcement, Mr. Olson stated: “We are excited to see the interest shown. Esprit Data is in an early stage now, but there is a vast market for our services and we looking for the strategic partners that can help us open new markets, both in North American and Worldwide.”
Rice Alliance managing director Brad Burke, announced the winners of the I.T. and Web Technology Company awards at the event. He stated, “Every year the quality of companies improves. This year we had a diversity of companies including comprehensive nutritional databases to risk management software for drug development and software that aggregates numerous sites or users. Start-up company presenters at Rice Alliance venture forums have raised in excess of $2.2 billion. This year’s crop of winners is expected to achieve similar results.”
The ESPRIT DATA VCaaS system took almost 3 year to fully develop. Walt Anderson, the Founder of ESPRIT DATA has worked closely with the developers of VCaaS product. “This award validates the hard work of our developers. We believe that we have the right technology at the right time. We now have customers waiting as we scale up to increase our capacity.”
A major criteria in the development of the ESPRIT DATA system was to be highly secure. The developers of VCaaS knew that a properly implemented and sufficiently strong Encryption Algorithm could not be broken by any private of governmental organization in any reasonable time frame. The VCaaS system automates the implementation of encryption and security protocols, rapidly and transparently. Users do not have to take any extra steps to assure security, the process is “built in” so that the data is only accessible to authorized users.
