Ensuring our website meets our customers needs whether they're on a PC, laptop, tablet or mobile is important. I am pleased to say we can now offer a responsive design to work with all devices. Dennis Ives, MD, Bristol Storage Ltd.

Whilst old hands at helping its customers find the best storage solutions, Bristol Storage still likes to embrace new technology to make purchasing pallet racking, shelving, Mezzanine floors and steel partitions as easy as possible.
And so Bristol Storage is pleased to announce the launch of it's new website. It has been designed specifically to make the customer experience quick, intuitive and efficient.
Looking for Storage on the Go?
A lot has changed in the last 10 years, not least how potential customers use the Internet. Where once this was largely confined to desktop PCs and laptops, now people increasingly search for products and services whilst away from a fixed office using mobile devices including tablets. The company's research showed that there was a 70% increase over the last year of the number of visitors coming to its website from mobile devices.
Older websites tend not to cope well with varying mobile screen sizes, so the new website had to include responsive design as part of the brief. This means it senses what screen a visitor is viewing it on and rearranges all the key information so that it can be seen without panning around. For visitors coming to the website via mobile devices, this improved functionality should be a breath of fresh air.
A new search feature
During usability testing, customer feedback stated that a search function on the website would be helpful. Always wanting to please, this has been added enabling visitors to the website to directly look up any of the website’s content from the home page. The search box is in the top left hand corner, although owing to the responsive design it may move around depending on a visitors screen size!
Improved social skills
Social Media is taking a larger part within the overall marketing strategy of the business and so it was therefore important to make the social buttons for Facebook, Twitter and the like much more prominent enabling visitors to share the content more easily. Be that an interesting or entertaining blog article, a particular product or just the home page.
Bristol Storage hopes that its site visitors, whether existing customers or new potential prospects, will like the new website and specifically the improvements made in usability so that the search for storage equipment is as quick and efficient as can be.
