We used to do Nalgenes, pens, among other kitschy items. Instead, we wanted to focus on what we do best: custom lanyards.
Evanston, IL (PRWEB) December 23, 2014
Bag Tags, Inc. recently launched their sister company, Woven Lanyards. Bag Tags, Inc. specializes in the creation of custom event passes and credentials. With the addition of Woven, they aim to capture the extensive lanyard market.
Bag Tags, Inc. is a family-owned business started by Thomas Doyle in 1998. With his family’s involvement in competitive swimming, Doyle recognized a need for swimmers to have a convenient method to track their progress and set goals. USA Swimming time standard cards became Bag Tags, Inc. first product.
With the company’s growth and expansion, lanyard sales became a substantial part of Bag Tags’ success. Lanyards act as a natural compliment to event passes, making them an easy sell to their existing client base. Over the course of the past few years, a number of large custom lanyard sales steadily encouraged Woven Lanyards’ launch.
Like Bag Tags, Woven Lanyards operates under the philosophy to keep their product line focused. While their competitors are offering hundreds of products, Woven Lanyards wanted to set themselves apart, and make purchasing lanyards as straightforward as possible.
“We believe in simplifying things,” Tom Doyle Jr. said. “We used to do Nalgenes, pens, among other kitschy items. Instead, we wanted to focus on what we do best: custom lanyards.”
