Great Sky Solar Celebrates Two Years of Excellence in the Solar Installation Industry
Brookline, MA (PRWEB) December 24, 2014 -- Great Sky Solar is excited to celebrate its two-year anniversary on the first of January, marking two years of success for the young business. Having recently closed their 12th major deal, Great Sky Solar is hoping to emerge as a new, ground-breaking company in the solar energy industry going forward. The Boston-based co-op plans to celebrate the hard work and dedication of its employees while ringing in the new year with an office holiday party.
"We're really proud of what we've accomplished so far, and are just getting started," says Aaron Katz, CEO of Great Sky Solar. "2015 is going to be a huge year of growth for our company, and we are so excited to be not only fighting climate change, but helping to lead the way for a better approach to business. Massachusetts is a top U.S. state for incentives to go solar, and we're grateful to be here helping make it happen."
Great Sky Solar is the only worker-owned solar installation cooperative in the Boston area, giving the business a unique position in the market. As an owner of the co-op, each Great Sky Solar employee has a stake in the quality and success of the business, further motivating each individual to provide customers with the highest quality products and services. Great Sky Solar is a member of both the Worker-Owned and Run Cooperative Network of Greater Boston (WORC'N) and the United States Federation of Worker Cooperatives.
Great Sky Solar installs solar arrays on both residential and commercial buildings, greatly reducing monthly energy bills while helping the environment and increasing the value of homes and commercial structures. Depending on the type of solar array clients choose, they are eligible for a number of different government incentive programs designed to put money back in their pockets, including Solar Renewable Energy Credits for Massachusetts residents and rebate programs through the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. These incentive programs help to quickly pay off home renovation loans used towards the installation of solar arrays.
Great Sky Solar has worked hard over the last two years to help customers in the Boston area save money and reduce their environmental footprint through clean and renewable energy products and offer their customers a $500 finder's fee for referrals.
