Meadow Lark Agencies Announces Holiday Donation Contribution
Billings, MT (PRWEB) December 25, 2014 -- Meadow Lark Agencies and its employees have raised and donated over $6,300 for organizations in need of assistance. Proceeds will benefit community organizations such as The Friendship House, missions for assistance in Haiti and Guatemala, and youth school programs throughout the Billings community.
Meadow Lark and its employees selected their annual organization to donate funds to in hopes of easing the burden at Christmas time. This year, The Friendship House of Billings, MT was the recipient of this donation. The faith-based organization provides educational enrichment for children and families in Billings.
“I’m so grateful for our family here at Meadow Lark, they opened their hearts to donate time and money to help our community and in parts of the world that are greatly in need” said Mandy Roth, CEO/Owner at Meadow Lark.
Meadow Lark is helping those in need in Billings, but also around the world through our donations. By collaborating with national organizations, Meadow Lark will assist in sending individuals on their mission to visit developing and third world countries where they will give children in orphanages leisure’s such as haircuts and lice treatments.
“Anytime we can help kids have a better life, even just for a day, we want to do what we can to make that happen,” said Mike Kandas, President at Meadow Lark.
Giving back to the community, near or far is an ongoing effort at Meadow Lark. Efforts this season will help families give a fresh meal to their children, educational assistance to after school youth along with materials and school supplies and grooming assistance to those that are not able to maintain due to lack of hygiene provisions.
