TAG Announces New Branding for 2015 Business Launch Competition
Atlanta, Georgia. (PRWEB) December 23, 2014 -- The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) today revealed the new branding for the 2015 TAG Business Launch events, one of largest competitions of its kind in the United States. The new logo was designed by TAG member, Atlanta-based digital marketing firm Arketi Group and will be utilized for all communications, signage and video production associated with the event.
“For a decade, TAG Business Launch has been instrumental in recognizing and supporting start-up technology companies bound for success,” said Rory Carlton Principal and Chief Creative Officer of Arketi Group. “With the new Business Launch brand we wanted to visually celebrate this triumph made possible by Georgia’s established and fast-growing technology business community.”
In addition to the new branding, TAG also announced that it will once again partner with Metro Atlanta Chamber and Venture Atlanta on the TAG Business Launch. Both partners were integral in the planning of the 2014 competition which featured an updated format and attracted more than 100 applicants. In 2015, the competition will be celebrating its 10th anniversary and is expected to surpass application and attendance predictions.
“We are proud to have started TAG Business Launch 10 years ago,” said Tino Mantella, TAG President and CEO. “Thanks to partners like Metro Atlanta Chamber and Venture Atlanta this program is still going strong. To celebrate the 10th anniversary, we thought that a fresh, new logo would help reflect that TAG Business Launch serves a vital purpose for supporting technology startups.”
Through the TAG Business Launch and other events, TAG, Metro Atlanta Chamber, and Venture Atlanta, support the creation and growth of new companies that will strengthen and expand Georgia's strategic high-tech clusters.
“We are excited to help TAG and Venture Atlanta commemorate this significant milestone and celebrate 10 years of success with an updated brand and look for the TAG Business Launch Competition,” said Katie Kirkpatrick, Senior Vice President of Policy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Metro Atlanta Chamber. “The momentum and visibility of this program continues to grow, and we look forward to continuing to shine a spotlight on the innovation and entrepreneurs in our region.”
The 2015 TAG program will provide investor exposure to more than 100 companies and will allow 18 companies the opportunity to pitch on stage. Four tech startups will split more than $400,000 in services and the winner will take home $50,000 in cash. Additionally, the winner of TAG Business Launch will receive a coveted spot on stage at the 2015 Venture Atlanta conference.
“The Business Launch continues to be a great launch pad for startups, and we are thrilled to support it,” said Allyson Eman, Executive Director of Venture Atlanta. “Business Launch clearly supports our mission of connecting entrepreneurs with sources of capital at all stages of growth.
