Maryville University has been recognized as a Best Value College by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance for the fourth consecutive year. Maryville is cited consistently in the magazine’s annual Best Value Colleges rankings for providing outstanding academics at an affordable cost.

“Maryville delivers an excellent education to thousands of students each year,” says President Mark Lombardi, PhD. “We’re proud of our 76 percent graduation rate, our 94 percent career placement rate, and our 68 percent growth in enrollment over the past five years. Maryville is moving forward with a strong dedication to market-relevant educational programs, corporate and community partnerships that provide meaningful learning opportunities, and enhancements such as our new Digital World technology initiative.”

As part of its annual ranking, Kiplinger’s assesses admission and retention rates, student-faculty ratios and four-year graduation rates. Cost criteria include sticker prices, financial aid and average debt at graduation.

“We salute this year’s top schools,” says Janet Bodnar, editor of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine. “Balancing top-quality education with affordable cost is a challenge for families in today’s economy, which is why Kiplinger’s rankings are such a valuable resource. The schools on the 2015 list offer students the best of both worlds.”

Maryville students enjoy small class sizes with a student to faculty ratio of 12:1, and the University has retention rate of 87 percent for first-year students. Maryville is an innovator in tailoring degrees to promising career tracks, and offers learning formats designed for traditional college students and working adults, including on-ground and online courses.

The complete rankings, including the top schools overall as well as the best values in public schools, private universities and private liberal arts colleges, are available online at kiplinger.com/links/college.
