Western University Patient Care Center Promotes Healthy Lifestyles with #FITFOR15
Pomona Callifornia (PRWEB) December 30, 2014 -- The Patient Care Center at Western University of Health Sciences (WesternU PCC) announced today the launch of their #FITFor15 health initiative, a campaign that will harness the power of digital platforms and fitness tools to promote a healthy lifestyle among local residents as they step into the New Year.
Effective immediately, contestants can now take WesternU Patient Care Center’s “Are you #FitFor15?” Quiz for the chance to win one (1) grand prize of a health monitor FitBit wrist watch to help promote their healthy lifestyles into the new year and beyond. In addition, all contestants will receive a coupon for one (1) complimentary dental, general or eye consultation for themselves or a child to be used before March 31, 2015.
“It is a common fact that people generally associate the New Year with new goals - 4 out of the top 10 resolutions are health-related, from eating better to quitting smoking, so we wanted to assist in that regard,” shares Jeff Keating, Executive Director of Public Affairs and Marketing for Western University of Health Sciences.
“By intersecting health topics with digital tools and social engagement, we hope to empower more people to take control of their own health habits for 2015, and encourage them to schedule necessary appointments to maintain and improve their health in the coming year,” Keating continued.
“Here in Pomona, The Patient Care Center at WesternU is a multi-service medical institution where individuals and families can receive both general or issue-based healthcare, and we want to remind people to make their health a priority,” he concluded.
