Vietnam Airlines Announces to Close Its Check-in Counter 10 Minutes Earlier Than Before
(PRWEB) December 27, 2014 -- Vietnam Airlines, the national flag carrier of Vietnam, announces to tighten the check-in deadline. Each check-in counter will be shuttered 10 minutes earlier than before. Accordingly, all Vietnam Airlines check-in counters will close 40 minutes prior to departure time of internal flights, instead of 30 minutes as before. Regarding international flights, the closing time is 50 minutes prior to the estimated departure. While the boarding gates are shuttered 10 minutes before, it is currently closed 15 minutes before the departure.
This change is announced in order to help Vietnam Airlines have more time for arranging seats and luggage. Additionally, this helps to reduce flight schedule change or cancellation in the case of overloading.
Besides, it is also noticed that the check-in counters of Vietnam Airlines at some international airports like Frankfurt (Germany), London Gatwick (United Kingdom), and Charles de Gaulle (France) are closed 60 minutes prior to the departure.
Tightening the check-in deadline, Vietnam Airlines advises passengers to follow the new regulation to have a check-in and boarding on time.
