15 Insights About Green Industry Buyers

We created an infographic that makes it a little easier to understand the information in the Green Industry Buyer Report.

HIndSite Software, the leading provider of field service software to the green industry, recently published an infographic, 15 Insights About Green Industry Buyers. The infographic is designed to help green industry business owners understand some of the key information found in HindSite's recent report about buyers of green industry services.

15 Insights About Green Industry Buyers is based on the Green Industry Buyer Report, which discussed the results of a comprehensive survey of hundreds of individuals who have purchased green industry services like irrigation service and repair, lawn mowing and fertilization, arbor care, landscaping and snow and ice removal. The nearly 30-page report is comprised of charts, graphs and analysis that helps green industry business owners better understand the motivations of their customers.

“The Green Industry Buyer Report contains a wealth of knowledge that can help businesses better market to and retain their buyers, “ explained HindSite’s Marketing Manager, Chad Reinholz. “But it contained an abundance of information. So we created an infographic that makes it a little easier to understand the information in the Green Industry Buyer Report.”

Among the information represented in the infographic:

  • As a whole, buyers of green industry services are happy
  • Buyers prefer email to any other form of communication
  • New customers are the least satisfied customers
  • Buyers tend to be older and have disposable income

The most surprising result in the infographic may be the communication preferences of green industry buyers. Nearly 75% of respondents prefer communications in the form of email, citing it over phone calls, face-to-face conversations and text messages. Regardless of age, income, gender or property type, the majority of buyers in each demographic chose email as their preferred method of communication.

“The results highlight the power of email to inform – and promote –a green industry business,” explained Reinholz. “It’s why our service business marketing add-on, HindSite Connect, is so popular among our customers. Not only does it streamline sending transactional and promotional emails, but it delivers communication in the format green industry buyers prefer.”
