Taxslayer Bowl Specials at St. Augustine Florida Bed and Breakfast
St Augustine, FL (PRWEB) December 29, 2014 -- Coming to Florida for the Taxslayer Bowl on January 2 in Jacksonville? The Bayfront Marin House, an award winning bed and breakfast in St. Augustine, Florida, is offering a special for any guests who are coming to town to see the game.
"We wanted to give fans a chance to get into the spirit as soon as they arrived," says Sandy Wieber, owner of the bed and breakfast, "so we're offering a free bottle of champage, as well as chocolate covered strawberries, to anyone who has traveled to see the bowl game."
The inn's usual chocolate covered strawberries have been replaced with Spirit Berries--a handful of strawberries covered in school colors. Fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes will enjoy berries covered in dark chocolate, and drizzled with gold colored white chocolate, while Tennessee Volunteers will receive white chocolate strawberries drizzled in orange colored chocolate.
Guests can sign up for the special when they make their reservation; the inn will contact them to see which team they're rooting for in the bowl. Guests may be asked to show their tickets to the Taxslayer Bowl when they check in to the bed and breakfast.
"Having the Taxslayer Bowl in Jacksonville is a great feather in the city's cap. We wanted to welcome any guests traveling to see the game, as well as to have a little fun with the fans," says Wieber.
Guests must have a room reservation for either January 1 or January 2.
The Bayfront Marin House is an award-winning, waterfront bed and breakfast, with 15 rooms located in the historic district.
