Morristown Woman with Personal Connection to NJ Sharing Network Mission Named New Marketing Manager
NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ (PRWEB) December 29, 2014 -- An experienced marketing professional with a personal connection to the mission to save and enhance lives through organ and tissue donation has been named Marketing Manager for NJ Sharing Network.
Jeanne Blanchard of Morristown will be responsible for development and direction of the long-term communication strategies that support the organization’s vision, mission and brand. Blanchard brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing, sales and business development with a focus on healthcare to her new position.
Before joining NJ Sharing Network, Blanchard held senior-level marketing positions in professional healthcare advertising for both McCann Healthcare Worldwide and Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide. Most recently, Blanchard held a position in Corporate Partner Relations in the Eastern Division for the American Cancer Society.
Blanchard understands first-hand the comfort that donation brings to families at a time of great sorrow. Blanchard is the sister of Margaret Campbell, who gave the gift of tissue in July, 2012, to enhance the lives of several recipients.
“In addition to her extensive healthcare experience, as a donor family member, Jeanne brings a unique perspective to this position. We are very pleased to have her join in our life-saving mission,” said Elisse Glennon, Director of External Affairs, NJ Sharing Network.
NJ Sharing Network is committed to saving and enhancing as many lives as possible through the gift of organ and tissue donation. While striving to reach this goal, NJ Sharing Network also provides support services for transplant recipients and donor families to help them cope with the tragic loss of a loved one.
“I am eager to commit my talents toward advancing this important mission and look forward to supporting the effort to save and enhance lives; offer hope to those waiting for a life-saving organ; and support our donor families,” Blanchard said.
