Fuller Seminary Sponsors CBE 2015 Conference
(PRWEB) December 30, 2014 -- Christians for Biblical Equality (CBE) has announced that Fuller Seminary is the first sponsor of “Becoming New: Man and Woman Together in Christ,” the 2015 CBE conference to be held July 24-26 in Los Angeles, CA.
“We are thrilled that Fuller Seminary is sponsoring the 2015 conference,” noted Florkime Paye, CBE conference coordinator. “Due to the proximity of CBE’s conference and Fuller Seminary’s Pasadena campus, we have created a special sponsorship package that will highlight our long partnership. I am excited to see how Fuller showcases their dedication to advancing the full equality of men and women in partnership with CBE!”
Fuller’s sponsorship marks the continuation of a long relationship with CBE. Fuller has long supported CBE events, and CBE president, Dr. Mimi Haddad, is an adjunct assistant professor at Fuller’s Houston campus.
Featuring Christian scholars, leaders, and activists, “Becoming New” will be held on July 24-26, 2015 at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel. The conference theme is based on 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
In its effort to advance a biblical foundation for gift-based rather than gender-based ministry and service, CBE sponsors annual conferences, facilitates local chapters, hosts an online bookstore, and publishes two award-winning journals. For more information, visit http://www.cbeinternational.org.
