"The Work of Mmi" Based on the Global Non-profit, Medical Ministry International, Is Awarded the 2013 Davey Award

The 9th annual Davey Awards has selected "The Work of MMI" as the recipient of the 2013 Silver Award for excellence in video production from over 4000 worldwide entries.

It is our hope that more people will invest in the work of MMI so that we are able to help the tens of thousands of people that line up seeking care from our teams.

The International Academy of Visual Arts announced today that Medical Ministry International has been selected as the Silver Award winner for "The Work of MMI" in the Film and Video - Fundraising category. The short form documentary features the life-changing work of the ministry and was selected from over 4,000 worldwide entries. The Davey Awards honor the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and international organizations.

The category was selected by a jury from the International Academy of the Visual Arts, a 600+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.

“Oh behalf of the 2000 volunteers and staff in 23 countries around the world, we are humbled and honored to have the life-changing work of our team be showcased before a worldwide audience. The sun never sets on MMI programs and it is video of this nature that helps us bring the visibility to the medical and financial needs of the ministry and place our supporters at the point of services being performed," stated Samuel Smith, CEO of Medical Ministry International. The Davey Awards exclusively honor the "David’s" of creativity, the finest small firms, agencies and international organzations. David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and little rock - the sorts of thing small firms do each year. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the "Creative David’s" who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets. The Davey Awards is the leading awards competition specifically for smaller firms, where firms compete with their peers to win the recognition they deserve.
