Rare 1949 Lincoln Convertible to be Sold in the Annual Collector Car Auction May 2014
Ocean City, Maryland (PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- Express Auctioneers announces that a 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan Convertible with be sold at the Collector Car Auction at the 24thAnnual Crusin weekend held May 15thto May 18th. This spring event, held at the Ocean City Convention Center, draws over 10,000 cars and 40,000 people on the beach and throughout the resort town.
Several collector cars will be offered for sale at auction starting 11am EST on May 15thand May 16th. The preview will be held at 9am EST both days. This auction will include hot rods, muscle cars, sports cars, exotic cars and more. More specifically: a 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan convertible with approx 76,000 miles, one of only 8 left of the 1427 manufactured in 1947. The cars had only two owners, most recently from an Estate in New Mexico. In the past years Express Auctioneers will offered over 100 hot rods, muscle cars, and exotic cars at this event.
Scheduled to appear at the event is Mike Henry (Horny Mike) from Counting Cars, McKenzie Phillips and Paul LeMat from the movie American Graffiti.

Ocean City’s Crusin’ Weekend event hosts one of the largest car shows on the east coast. There will be more than 350 awards selected by various businesses, town representatives, community leaders, event sponsors and others. Boardwalk Parades are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings. Cars will parade from North Division St. south to the inlet parking lot starting at 8am. Car show hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. General Admission is $10, children under 14 are free with an adult.
